Last Saturday, Marta Torrubiano Balcells and Pau Prats Colàs took part in the Festa de la Ciència in Barcelona, where they organised a scientific outreach activity for children.
Through a series of engaging hands-on experiments, they sparked curiosity and showed just how fascinating and exciting science can be. They also demonstrated that science can feel like a bit of “magic”, and that you don’t need a laboratory to explore amazing concepts, whether it’s extracting DNA from a strawberry, creating invisible ink to write secret messages, or watching solutions change colour in the blink of an eye!
